where to convert my loose change?

Hi
Ive been saving my loose change for ages now, and i think i have about £300 saved up. i want to convert these pennies into notes or even just into my bank account. Can anyone tell me which banks (i live in England) have a facility where you can just drop your coins into a sorter which will then pay the amount into my account. I need to open a new account anyway so i'd rather pick a bank which allows me to do this, instead of having to go to the counter and hand the cashier loads of change

My local branch of HSBC has a coin counting machine. They refurbished the branch last year and it was installed then. It's great - it doesn't charge you like the supermarket ones, plus it goes direct to your account. You need to have an HSBC account, and you need to find a branch with one of these machines in as not all branches have them.

If you take it to a bank counter, they will require you to already have sorted it out and bagged it up.
